Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The test consists of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark. A negative marking of 0.25 marks (1/4th) is typically applicable for every wrong answer.Subject Breakdown:General Knowledge & Current Affairs (30 Marks): National and international importance, polity, environment, and science.Logical Reasoning & Mental Ability (30 Marks): Analytical reasoning and basic numerical skills.Punjab History & Culture (20 Marks): Physical features, Sufism, Sikh Gurus, and freedom movements.Language Skills (English & Punjabi): Basic grammar and comprehension.ICT (Information Technology): Basic computer operations.
Mandatory Instructions for Candidates
Admit Card: Candidates must download their hall tickets from the official website (https://gndu.ac.in/sssB_Recruitment_07122025/AdmitCard.aspx) No physical copies are sent by post.Identity Proof: Carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID).Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets (smartwatches, mobile phones, calculators) and study materials are strictly banned inside the hall.Check the Venue: It is advised to verify the exact location of the exam center mentioned on the admit card at least one day in advance to avoid last-minute delays.
