Tata Motors has officially launched the much-anticipated 2025 Tata Sierra in India, blending the nostalgia of the original iconic SUV with modern design and cutting-edge technology. The launch introduces the Sierra in its ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) avatar, with an all-electric (EV) version slated to follow later.

- Introductory Price: Starting at ₹11.49 Lakh (ex-showroom, introductory).
- Bookings: Official bookings will commence from December 16, 2025.
- Deliveries: Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin from January 15, 2026.

- The SUV is built on the new ARGOS (All-Terrain Ready, Omni-Energy and Geometry Scalable) platform, which is designed to support multiple powertrains, including an eventual All-Wheel Drive (AWD) version confirmed for the future.

The new Sierra pays tribute to its legacy while offering a completely modern package:
- Exterior: It retains the iconic Alpine window-inspired design at the rear, but with a modern twist, using a partially blacked-out B-pillar and contrasting roof. Key highlights include a bold, upright stance, connected full-width LED light bars at the front and rear, and flush door handles.

⚡ What About the Tata Sierra EV?
While the ICE model is the one recently launched, the Tata Sierra EV is also confirmed and is expected to follow in the first half of the next financial year (tentative launch around January-February 2026).
- The EV will be based on Tata’s dedicated acti.ev platform.
- It is expected to offer a claimed range of up to 500 km on a full charge, with both Front-Wheel-Drive and Dual-Motor AWD variants likely to be offered.
