Chandigarh: Haryana is celebrating its 60th Foundation Day today. To mark this historic occasion, the State Government is hosting a three-day State-Level Haryana Day Celebration in Panchkula from November 1st to 3rd, showcasing the state’s rich heritage and progress.

🎉 Ceremony Inauguration and Dignitary Attendance

The Foundation Day ceremony was inaugurated this morning at 10:30 AM by the Governor of Haryana, Ashim Kumar Ghosh. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was present on the occasion as the Chief Guest.

State ministers, senior officials, artists, and a large number of citizens are participating in the three-day festivities. The celebration will present a grand glimpse of Haryana’s culture, history, and journey of development.

🚀 Key Reforms and New Schemes on the 60th Foundation Day

The 60th Foundation Day is not just an occasion for celebration, but also for several important announcements made by the State Government aimed at bringing positive change to the lives of citizens:

  • Launch of Paperless Registry: To introduce transparency and speed in administration, completely paperless registry is being started in Tehsils. This step will strengthen the state’s digital model.
  • Special Mid-Day Meal Gift: Approximately 15 lakh students in the state will receive traditional and nutritious meals of Pinni and Kheer under the Mid-Day Meal scheme.
  • Expansion of Lado Lakshmi Scheme: 8 lakh women will now receive ₹2100 per month under the Lado Lakshmi Scheme. This announcement is a significant step towards women’s empowerment.

Haryana has achieved remarkable progress in the fields of agriculture, industry, and sports over the past six decades. These new reforms and schemes reflect the government’s commitment to further empower the state’s citizens and realize the vision of a “Developed Haryana.”
