On the occasion of Vishwakarma Day, the Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, offered prayers to Lord Vishwakarma today at his residence, ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’. The Chief Minister paid floral tributes to a portrait of Lord Vishwakarma and bowed in reverence. On this occasion, the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Mohanlal Badoli, was also present.

Chief Minister Mr. Saini extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on Vishwakarma Day and said that Lord Vishwakarma is a symbol of creation, hard work, and skill. He showed society the path of progress through craftsmanship, construction, and expertise. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also prayed for happiness, peace, and prosperity in the lives of all artisans.

The Chief Minister mentioned that the ‘Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana’, launched by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, is a significant step towards empowering the skills of traditional artisans and craftsmen. In alignment with this vision, the Haryana Government has also implemented several schemes in the state to provide training, financial assistance, and modern tools to artisans, technicians, and self-employed individuals. Mr. Nayab Singh Saini also extended warm greetings and best wishes to all citizens of the state on the auspicious festivals of Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.
